SF BICYCLE COALITION

DESIGN SUBMISSION // TREASURE ISLAND BIKE RACK Bike rack designs for the SF Bicycle Coalitions's Treasure Island Bike Rack Design Competition. Group project with Gabriel Philips and Ryan Rhiel. The project brief was to design a rack specifically for the refurbished Treasure Island in San Francisco. We had two concepts: "Kink" and the other "DeMeter". The constraints were to use existing square tubing that is currently used on typical bike racks. Kink was designed to accommodate two bikes more comfortably and is shaped like an octangle mirroring Treasure Island's shape. ReMeter's design upcycled parking meters and won an honorable mention.
